“My project car was a 1965 Thunderbird. My brother, who is a former auto body guy, recommended GK as the best body and paint guy he had ever seen and that proved to be an understatement! GK is an absolute perfectionist who takes great pride in every element of his work. He is a true master of the trade who pours his heart and soul into every project. Even though I live on the east coast, GK regularly sent me dozens of photos showing his progress – each photo had a detailed caption outlining the work that was completed. At times, GK would come across an issue that needed to be addressed – in many cases it was to correct a problem from the factory that wasn’t to GK’s exacting standards. He would carefully document the issue, and if it involved additional time and money to repair, he would contact me for approval to proceed. Bottom line, if you have a car that you simply love and want the absolute best restoration work available, GK is the only way to go. Getting back to my Tbird – the lines, the gaps, and the paint are absolutely flawless. I’m a 1000% satisfied customer.”
“We own a 1947 Ford Woody, my Mom (riding in the back) decided to open the rear suicide door at 60 mph to re-close it tighter...(whelp needless to say) the wind ripped it from her hand and wrapped it around the rear fender. Good Grief!
GK got that door and fender looking better than new, using lead. It was the best part of the car when he finished, and the price was equivavent to the Bondo guys estimate down the street.
I’ve been recommending GK ever since.”
“I had a great experience purchasing a 1967 Jeepster Commando sight unseen from GK and also made a new friend in the process. I came across this Jeepster for sale on Craigslist and did not have the option of looking at it in person as I am located in Beijing, China. What I did is ask a number of questions and it did not take me long to figure out that I was talking with a Master Craftsman in GK! GK went out of his way to tell me all the issues with the Jeepster (mainly a few rust spots and where they were located) and sent me well over a hundred photos. I sent him a check to purchase it and contracted to have the rust repaired. Months later, I flew into Spokane, Wa. where GK picked me up in this very nice Commando which had been in his family for years. GK then showed me the restoration work he did including new floor pans, new body mounts and a new rocker panel. He does his work the old fashioned way without bondo and the results are amazing. I have worked in the airplane industry for the past several years all over the world and have met a number of skilled mechanics, engineers and craftsman and I would rate GK in the upper echelon... he is an extremely skilled mechanic, artist, engineer and craftsman all rolled into one very unique person. GK, thanks again for the great experience!”
